Sorry for being pretentious. I bear no illusions of any special talents what so ever. I was active here from 2003 and a couple of years forward, and I haven't really put any effort in staying active here. The noise surpasses the signal by lengths in here.
I stopped doing that weird photoshop butchery that have been dominating most of what I've uploaded here so far, and went into real photography. As all the cool kids, I've turned to analog photography. You can find most of my photos on flickr, although sharing some of the same signal to noise problems as here, it does not yell out right in your face as dA does.
Some time in the future, I will probably delete most of what I have here and put up some of the stuff that I actually feel attached to.
These days, I take pictures and work in a darkroom. I'm not very good at it, but I'm trying learn the craft that is print making. The photo I uploaded today 'Astrid', is a recent print that I feel alright about. It's my first attempt at split-grade printing where you retain the low-contrast smoothness and stimulate the contrast and dark areas by adding a high-contrast exposure on top.
Anyway, this note is here instead of some of the pretentious crap I wrote earlier. Really sorry about that folks.
